Czech large Mali ‘wedding bead’ African trade necklace

This is a very unusual necklace of large translucent green grape coloured Mali (Fulani) wedding beads. These are probably Czech. They are very smooth and seem to have quite a bit of wear to them. They are on a strand with clear spacer beads. These beads were bought from a dealer from the United States.

Dimensions: longest bead 3.1cms long x 2cms diameter at widest. Smallest bead 2.1cms long x 1.4cms diameter at widest.

Weight: 195gms

Condition: Excellent. One bead has an unobtrusive and smooth chip at its suspension loop.
