Yemen / Bedouin coin-silver Hirz cylinder amulet pendant (2)
A fine Yemen cylinder Hirz with applied beaded triangular plates and chased decoration to the main body, hung with fine cast bells. Fixed ends. Decoration is similar to that found on pieces from Wadi Daw’an (see reference book below).
Note: Tests as coin silver. Probably made from Maria Theresa thalers.
