African ethnographic antique: Senufo Bronze/brass divination/fertility ring. Provenance

A beautiful bronze/brass* Senufo ring depicting a seated back to back couple covering their mouths with their hands. For an almost identical ring being worn by a Senufo diviner see Fisher page 126). The ring was created using the “lost wax” process. Each ring is original and unique as the mold is destroyed after each casting. This ring has considerable age.
