Product Description

Xtremeauto Basecoat Aerosol Paint is a professional-quality automotive refinishing paint, custom formulated, mixed and filled in-house by WLW Brands using professional automotive paint systems and modern colour-matching technology.

Each aerosol is mixed to order by our trained paint professionals to match the vehicle manufacturer's original standard colour specification as accurately as possible.

Our aerosol formulation is designed to provide excellent colour accuracy, coverage, atomisation and spray performance, making professional-quality automotive paint repairs achievable without the need for a spray gun or compressor.

The paint is supplied ready to spray in an aerosol can – no mixing or thinning is required. Simply prepare the surface correctly, apply the basecoat in multiple light, even coats and allow suitable flash-off time between coats.

Once applied, the basecoat will dry to a uniform matt finish. This is completely normal for an automotive basecoat and it must be overcoated with a suitable clear lacquer to produce the final gloss finish, enhance colour depth and provide long-term protection.

Important Application Information

For the best results, the surface should be properly cleaned, degreased, prepared and primed where necessary before applying the basecoat.

Apply several light, even coats rather than one heavy coat, allowing appropriate flash-off time between applications.

IMPORTANT: Basecoat is not a finished topcoat. Once the desired colour coverage has been achieved, a compatible clear lacquer must be applied to achieve the final gloss, durability and protection.

For metallic and pearlescent colours, application technique can influence the final colour appearance. Consistent spray distance, overlap and coat application are particularly important when achieving an accurate finish.
