The Real Car

The Ferrari 512M was the modified 5-litre sports-prototype Ferrari ran against the Porsche 917 in 1970–71. The blue-and-yellow Sunoco 512M was entered by Penske and Kirk F. White at Daytona in 1971 for Mark Donohue and David Hobbs. It is one of the best-known privateer 512M liveries. Super Champion issued it as No. 61 in the same 1:43 sports-car series as the Gelo and Filipinetti 512Ms.
