The lens performs exceptionally well. The autofocus is very fast and accurate, with no squeaking or unusual noises from the AF motor. It is extremely sharp, even when shooting wide open at f/2.8.

Cosmetically, the lens body is in like-new condition.

The front element has some marks on the lens coating. The glass itself is not scratched – these are only marks on the coating and they have absolutely no effect on image quality or the final photos.
