Origin: Yucatan, Mexico

500 AD – 800 AD

 

AI: Appears to resemble an ancient pre-Columbian terra cotta pottery head, likely from a Mesoamerican culture such as Veracruz or a related tradition, mounted on a modern display stand.

 

Features: Stylized facial features with a prominent nose, almond shaped eyes, and an ornate, notched headdress or crown

 

Measures 3 3/4” across head dress and 6 3/4” tall with the stand
