Antique Carved Wood Panel / Plaque. Green Man Faces and Foliage, Central Owl and Cartouche, Griffins & Scrolls

One of a kind, lovely reclaimed good sized 19th century piece carved from red walnut including the shaped top and bottom part of the frame. Good quality crisp carvings in deep relief. 

Depicts two Green men facing each other, their foliage entwined with a forward facing owl in central carved cartouche, and two Griffins at the sides facing outwards. Original polished finish. Freestanding or wall hanging. Lovely subjects, great display piece.
