Please note: this listing is for a film developing service only. No film, camera, scanner, photographs, prints or photographic equipment are being sold.

Important – when does the processing time begin?

This is a send-in film developing service. Processing can only begin after your exposed but undeveloped film has been physically delivered to me.

The normal processing time is approximately:

3–5 working days after your film has been received.

The time required for you to send the film to me is not included. The automatic delivery estimate displayed by eBay may not include the time required for the film to reach me.

This service covers the traditional black-and-white development of one exposed but undeveloped 35mm negative film.

The film will be carefully developed, fixed, washed and dried before the completed negative is safely packaged and returned to you.

This listing covers film developing only.

After developing, fixing, washing and drying, the negative will be returned as one complete, uncut full-length strip.

Cutting the film into shorter strips and negative storage sleeves are not included in this service.

The dry negative will be carefully and loosely coiled without excessive pressure, protected from dust and securely packaged for return.

The developed film cannot be placed back inside its original 35mm film cassette.

Films not accepted under this listing

Colour negative film requiring the C-41 process
Black-and-white C-41 film such as Ilford XP2 Super
Kodak BW400CN and other chromogenic black-and-white films
Colour slide or transparency film requiring the E-6 process
ECN-2 cinema film
Ilford Delta 3200 or Kodak T-Max P3200 without prior agreement
Infrared, technical, microfilm or other specialist emulsions
120 medium-format film
APS or 110 film
Films requiring push or pull processing

Standard processing only

The film should normally have been exposed at the standard ISO speed shown on the film box or cassette.

For example, Ilford HP5 Plus 400 should normally have been photographed at ISO 400.

Push processing, pull processing and films exposed at a different ISO are not included in this listing.

If you exposed the film at a different ISO setting, please contact me through eBay before purchasing.

How the service works

1	Purchase this listing through eBay.
2	Postal instructions will be supplied through eBay messages.
3	Send your exposed but undeveloped 35mm film in secure protective packaging.
4	Include a note containing your full name, eBay username, order number, film type and the ISO setting used when taking the photographs.
5	Once received, the film will be developed, fixed, washed and carefully dried.
6	The developed film will be returned uncut as one full-length negative strip, carefully protected and securely packaged for return to your UK address.

Exposure, age and condition of the film

Film development cannot guarantee that usable photographs will be present.

Blank, underexposed, overexposed, fogged, light-damaged, incorrectly loaded, expired or badly stored film may produce poor results or no visible images.

Developing reveals the image recorded on the film but cannot recreate details that were not originally captured.

The service fee covers the developing process and remains payable even if the film contains blank, damaged or unusable frames.

Old, expired or unidentified film

Please contact me before purchasing if the film is expired, very old, has been stored for many years or has no visible manufacturer or film name.

Such films may require a different development approach and are not automatically covered by this standard listing.

Postage

The buyer is responsible for the cost of sending the film to me.

A tracked postal service is strongly recommended.

The postage charge shown in this listing covers the return of the developed negative to a UK address.

Please place the film cassette inside a protective bag or container and use suitable outer packaging to protect it during delivery.

Privacy

Your film and photographs will be treated as private and confidential. They will not be shared, published or used for any other purpose.
