1956 real photo postcard of the beautiful but tragic Andrea Doria ocean liner passing in front of Gibraltar. Postmarked March 13 1956 Gibraltar. She would sink four months later after a collision, on July 26, 1956. The message on back describes the great experience of being a passenger. Card is in very good condition with wear at edges and corners and minor staining on back. Dimensions: 5-7/8" x 4-3/16".
