Item Details

The Real Car

The Lotus 107 was Team Lotus’s 1992 Formula 1 car, designed by Chris Murphy and powered by the Ford HB V8. Johnny Herbert and Mika Häkkinen drove the green-and-yellow Castrol cars through a difficult midfield season. The 107 was the last Lotus to carry the classic green and yellow in period before the team’s final years. Herbert’s #12 is the better-known of the two 1992 team cars among UK collectors.
