A remarkable antique Victorian silver Albertina watch chain, richly constructed and full of original period character, complete with an ornate tassel and two Victorian silver threepence coins.

This is the kind of Albertina that deserves to be appreciated as a complete historical object rather than simply an antique chain. The elaborate multi-strand construction incorporates twisted silver chains, decorative beads, finely detailed terminals and an impressive ornamental centre section, giving the piece a wonderfully substantial and unmistakably Victorian appearance.
