Description and Details
- The Bear: Appears to be a vintage, handmade or early manufactured teddy bear with cream-colored mohair for the head and paws, and a stitched black nose and mouth. It is dressed in an integrated black fabric jacket and trousers with a cream-colored shirt front/vest detail.
- The Note: A small handwritten card at the base reads: "Doris Mae Sevenman Ray's 'Teddy Bear' she held on her bed when she went to Mills College in 1940 or 1941?"
came from an estate sale which included Steiff era items, I trust the collector had valuables and not know it, and I am currently posting everything I have located this weekend.
