Worth more in parts, but I can't break a working camera just because it won't fire properly in B, especially an Asahi that actually works perfectly at its low speeds and T!

Cleaned and serviced, and all light seals renewed to Mirror and Film compartment.

For some reason the Mirror does not lock up in B, just fires at 500secs, it does however operate perfectly when in T.

Viewfinder has the usual internal debris to it, but nothing that hampers use when a lens is attached.

DESCRIPTION

Film has been put through to confirm Loading, Counter and Removal mechanisms are operating correctly.

The shutter speeds except B, are firing correctly at 1000secs/500/250/125/60/30/15/8/4/2/1 and *T.

Mirror buffer and Film compartment light seals have been replaced with new.

Shutter box & Mirror housing dust traps have been cleaned and are spotless.

Film tensioner plate is excellent and film compartment is light tight.

Both Flash Sync sockets tested and working.

* To operate in Time, set dial to T, cock and press shutter button, curtain will remain open until the shutter speed dial is turned again in either direction, when it will then close.

I am very fussy with my own equipment, so when it comes to selling to buyers. I take the time to deep clean, sanitise and then check 'EVERY' function prior to listing, I like to think they are some of the best available, and something I would be very confident to give as a present, and also receive and use myself.

If on checking the item over, you are not 100% happy with it, I will happily refund the purchase cost & your postage, once the item has been safely returned.

As much as I would love to use 'cheap couriers', it's proven to be unreliable in the past, plus many of these companies do not insure lenses & cameras against loss/damage in transit.

I only send with Royal Mail 48hr Tracked Service, so it's guaranteed to arrive safely & in good time.

GLOBAL SHIPPING

Postage is through 'ebay's global postage' at ebay's set prices.

Once purchased, I post the item to ebay's central UK shipping centre, where the parcel is re addressed and forwarded to the buyer, any Import tax will be shown on the buyers ebay page and will need to be paid by the buyer.

EQUIPMENT CHECKS

Every function of the camera will be 'tested in accordance to the instruction manual for the model'.

Cameras are then given a deep clean, Light seals renewed as standard (I do not use flimsy ready made ones, quality replacements are hand cut and fitted).

Please note that most cameras of a certain age, will have crumbling foam light seals, if these are not replaced your developed film will be spoilt by light leaking into the film compartment.

Film will be be run through to confirm the cameras specific Loading mechanism/Film advance/Rewind & Removal/Film counter and Reset are all working correctly.

CONDITION MEANINGS:

Mint

As new.

Excellent

Shows no signs of wear to the body, all functions have been tested and are working correctly.

Very Good

Body shows only slight signs of use, such as mild rub marks on chassis paint or faint cleaning marks, all tested and working.

Good

All functions tested and working but body has age related scuffs and wear marks, the mechanical operation may be slightly stiff/loose but is still totally useable.

Average/Fair

Bodily it's a bit worn, scuffed and knocked about, while it may not look its best, it is still useable.

Display

Cosmetically good but not working for the reasons stated.

Spares/Repair

Not working for the reasons stated. Ideal if you can repair or wish to use for parts.

Untested

Means condition is as the pictures show as I have not examined it. Best bought assuming it's NOT working, as then we'll both be pleasantly surprised if it does.
