Encouraged by the success of the Gold Maple Leaf, the Royal Canadian Mint introduced Silver Maple Leaf Coins in 1988. The Silver Maple Leaf is one of the most recognized bullion coins worldwide, and is popular among collectors and investors for its quality and intricate design details, showcasing the most widely recognized national symbol of Canada.
