Antique/vintage cast brass horse brass or harness medallion featuring a detailed sheaf of wheat/grain tied at the center, surrounded by an ornate openwork frame.

Traditional heavy cast construction with an integral rectangular suspension slot at the top for attachment to horse harness or bridle tack. The wheat sheaf is rendered in raised relief with substantial detail.

Measures approximately 4 inches tall overall.

Shows considerable age-related character including dark patina, oxidation/verdigris, tarnish, scratches, rubbing and surface wear. The reverse has a dark aged finish. No maker’s mark observed.

An attractive traditional equestrian collectible with a classic agricultural/harvest motif. Great for a horse brass collection, English country décor, farmhouse display or antique tack collection.
