The cover has some rubbing and marks in places but is generally very good.

Internally the pages are also in very good condition with occasional marks and age toning in places. The chromolithographs are nice and bright.

There is a bookplate inside the front cover from Eric Quayle (1921–2001), British bibliophile, collector and author.
