DESCRIPTION

Classic Bradford Western by Resistol XXX Quality black felt cowboy hat in tagged size 7 1/4.

This is an impressive traditional Western hat with a substantial approximately 3-7/8” wide brim and approximately 5” crown. The interior features the Bradford Western by Resistol branding, XXX Quality designation, satin lining, and leather-style sweatband.

The hat is currently shaped as shown in the photographs. It is not perfectly shaped and would benefit from being professionally shaped or reshaped according to the new owner’s preferred Western style.

No exterior hatband is included. The new owner can add a leather, ribbon, horsehair, or other Western hatband of their choice.

CONDITION DETAILS

Overall, the hat presents very well for a pre-owned Western hat.

The black felt is in good overall condition with no holes or pits observed. The hat does show normal signs associated with previous ownership and storage and could benefit from a professional cleaning to restore additional luster, at the new owner’s discretion.

The hat is not currently shaped perfectly and should be considered ready for the new owner to have shaped or steamed to their personal preference.

The interior sweatband is in very good condition, and the interior satin lining also presents very well. Interior Bradford Western by Resistol and XXX Quality markings remain visible.

No exterior hatband is included and one will need to be purchased separately if desired.

With appropriate cleaning, shaping, and continued care, this is a very attractive Western hat with plenty of life remaining.
