This is the correct/compatible computer for any Early 99 Ford F-Series Super Duty Pickup (F250 F350 F450 etc) with the 7.3L Powerstroke (Direct Injected HEUI) Diesel Engine and ZF6 6-Speed Manual Transmission. If you have a truck that checks those boxes, your original PCM label will have "DPC-401" printed on it. All "DPC-401" PCM's are compatible/interchangeable.

This unit was recently removed from a running EARLY 1999 7.3L / ZF6 truck and is fully tested- absolutely no problems. NO REPROGRAMMING REQUIRED! All Pickup/Super Duty 7.3L PCM's are "plug & play". You can plug in any functional "DPC-401" PCM to any EARLY 99 7.3L/ZF6 truck- it's ready to go, it DOES NOT need to be programmed.

This CAN NOT be used on Automatic Transmission 7.3L Powerstroke trucks- the shift solenoid drivers are not present! CAN NOT be reprogrammed to run the automatic transmission! Manual transmission only!
