Powers on, self-test passes, but front panel keys non-responsive. For parts/repair.
Unit powers on and displays startup screen with self-test PASS confirmation. However, nearly all front panel keys are non-responsive including all softkeys (F1-F6), More button, MOD ON/OFF key, and other front panel buttons. Only the rotary knob functions correctly. This represents a critical operational defect likely caused by keyboard/front panel PCB failure. Unit shows cosmetic wear with scratches and soiling on exterior surfaces. Sold AS-IS for parts or repair only.
Operation Check
Power supply: OK. Display: OK (startup screen and self-test PASS displayed). Self-test result: PASS. Basic operation: NG - softkeys F1-F6 non-responsive, More button non-responsive, MOD ON/OFF key non-responsive, other front panel keys non-responsive. Only rotary knob operates correctly. Measurement operation: Partially confirmed - frequency and level settings possible via rotary knob, RF output shown as ON state, but actual output not measured (no spectrum analyzer available for verification). Due to key failure, system info screen could not be accessed and installed options could not be confirmed. Firmware versions confirmed: CPU Software 2.01, IPL 1.02, RF FPGA 1.02. Serial number: 6200438737. Front panel keyboard PCB failure suspected. Requires repair before full functionality can be restored.

The Anritsu MG3700A is a professional vector signal generator designed for testing and development of wireless communications equipment. Standard frequency range is 250 kHz to 3 GHz (6 GHz with option). Features 160 MHz arbitrary waveform generator with 120 MHz vector modulation bandwidth, 1GB baseband memory (256 Msamples/channel), built-in 40GB hard disk, and 100BASE-TX Ethernet connectivity. Supports digital modulation signals for mobile communications, wireless LANs, WiMAX, LTE, and other wireless systems. Used in R&D labs and manufacturing for testing receivers, transmitters, components, and baseband chips in advanced wireless applications.
