This VINTAGE MGM Solid Brass Lion came from the original MGM Grand hotel in

Las Vegas before the MGM fire.

Downstairs in the old MGM Grand, there was an arcade, and a wonderful movie

Theater, and when we were kids My mom used to take us there to watch old movies

And play pinball machines AND

During their grand opening, we went to their theater to see National Velvet and

Because of the promotion being offered, everyone who bought a movie ticket

Received one of these Brass MGM Lions at a reduced price.

The theater was a beautiful place with very soft, very comfortable blue velvet

loveseat couches,

So this Brass MGM Lion has a great story.

Unfortunately, now I am getting older and it's time for me to downsize to get

Ready for assisted living and everything must go but to me, this item holds a

Place in Las Vegas history and is a collectors item from the original MGM Grand

From before the bad fire.
