Here is an antique Victorian walnut wall pocket in the Aesthetic Movement style , overall measuring about 24” x 18”. In as found original condition, with enhanced original finish and newer gilding; A handsome piece ready for use. Good condition, with age associated wear as pictured. At some time in its history this piece has been modified by removing the typical chains on either side of the dropdown and replacing them with solid wood inserts , as can be seen the photos. An unusually handsome piece ready for placement. Please study photos before bidding.
