A group of 9 chivalric scenes, each measuring approx 430mm x 315mm (17" x 12.5").

Trimmed to the image and mounted at edges onto thick paper supports.

Also included is the title page from The Story of Elaine, dated 1871, published by E.Moxon, Son & Co, and the Preface (also dated 1871). The preface page also has a cutting fixed by tape indicating that these plates were sold at auction in November 2007.

The plates are generally in very good condition - photographs of all 9 plates are shown in the listing.

Some spotting around the edges, age toning, occasional marks and edge creases/chipping.
