A genuinely unusual vintage Clowat Swiss quartz cuff watch, combining a slim oval gold dial with a striking turquoise-coloured bangle design.

This is one of those watches that sits somewhere between jewellery and watchmaking. The narrow oval dial has a textured gold finish with black Roman numerals, gold-tone hands and Swiss Made printed at the bottom, while the sculpted cuff wraps around the wrist with bright turquoise inserts and contrasting gold-tone metalwork.

The watch is fitted with a Swiss quartz movement and is currently operating as shown.

The watch shows normal vintage wear including marks and scratches to the gold-tone surfaces and turquoise sections, but overall the colour combination still presents brilliantly.

The unusual integrated cuff design is the real attraction here and makes it far more interesting than a conventional small dress watch.
