This is a vintage BOSS CS-2 Compression Sustainer guitar effects pedal made in Japan.
The CS-2 provides compression and sustain control with LEVEL, ATTACK, and SUSTAIN controls. It is designed for electric guitar and other compatible instrument-level applications.
The unit was powered using an external adapter during testing. The CHECK indicator illuminated, and basic operation was confirmed.
