This is a vintage BOSS CS-2 Compression Sustainer guitar effects pedal made in Japan.
The CS-2 provides compression and sustain control through LEVEL, ATTACK, and SUSTAIN controls. It is designed for electric guitar and other compatible instrument-level applications.
The rear label identifies the unit as Made in Japan, and the serial number inside the battery compartment is 383200.
Basic operation has been checked. The CHECK indicator illuminates, and the pedal was tested with cables connected as shown in the photos.
