So the Germany stamp makes me believe this is german made, but on the other side the stamp I believe is a type of owners mark possibly a tool maker?

From what i can see and read in the diamond logo

A. Haupt (left top)

Making ? (Right top)

New York (left bottom)

USA ? (Right bottom)
