TASCAM 112MK2 Cassette Deck
This unit was non-functional upon arrival but has been restored to working order through the following basic maintenance:
・Replacement of damaged gears
・Replacement of idler rubber
・Replacement of flat rubber belts
・Pinch roller service
・Head cleaning
Please note that the replacement parts used are compatible/substitute parts, not genuine manufacturer parts.
This unit has not undergone comprehensive, top-to-bottom maintenance; the work performed was limited to basic servicing.
No fine-tuning of electrical signal levels has been performed.
This item is best suited for those capable of performing their own detailed maintenance or for those who simply want a unit that functions reasonably well without requiring perfection.
Playback, recording, fast-forward, and rewind functions were confirmed to work in the current state.
Only the rear-panel input/output terminals have been tested.
There is static/noise (scratchiness) in the headphone jack.
The PLAY, PAUSE, and RECORD indicator lights do not illuminate.
There are visible scratches and signs of wear on the exterior.
Other details beyond those listed above have not been checked.
