1996 Gretsch 6122 Country Classic II This Gretsch 6122 Country Classic II was manufactured by Terada Musical Instruments in Japan from the early to mid-1990s, before Fender's acquisition of Gretsch. The 17-inch wide, double-cutaway hollow body is made of maple, and is characterized by the deep, resonant tone produced by the rich volume unique to a full acoustic construction.
The neck is made of long-scale maple, and the fingerboard is made of ebony, resulting in a fast attack and tight response. The hardware includes a locking bar bridge for stable tuning and efficient string vibration transmission, and a Bigsby tremolo as standard equipment.
The pickups are the Filter'Tron Set, synonymous with Gretsch, and output a warm, focused midrange and bright, clear highs. While there are some scratches, pick wear, and dents from use, there are no issues affecting playability, and it is in adjusted player's condition.
