Beautiful Old Spanish & Spanish Colonial Stamps (Puerto Rico & "Ultramar").

This is beautiful set of very old Spanish stamps from the earliest issued stamps (1850 – two examples of this “Queen Isabella II” stamp feature in this lot – fine used examples which these two are with full margins, are priced at approximately £90 each) through to the mid-20^th century.

There are also two small stock sheets of Puerto Rico stamps also mainly in excellent condition. Plus several “Ultramar” stamps in the collection (these were stamps issued for the Spanish colonies - Ultramar means “Overseas” or “Beyond the Sea” and were used in Cuba, Puerto Rico, etc).

There is much value to be extracted from this collection, mainly from the older stamps. I haven’t gone through each stamp individually and there is duplication amongst the oldest stamps.

Height              : These are all standard A4 (approximately) stock sheets and stamp album pages.

Weight             : 226 grammes (unpacked)

Provenance    : The sheets come from a small collection which I purchased at auction.  I don’t collect Spain or her colonies hence this sale.

The item will be carefully packed and sealed within a plastic bag to prevent any moisture damage plus the usual full protection packaging for this item.
