A lovely vintage Seiko Chariot 5P31-5170, with a beautiful textured gold dial often described as a “snowflake” or cross-hatched dial.

This is a particularly nice-looking vintage Seiko dress watch, with its slim rectangular case, applied gold-tone markers and elegant minimalist design. The textured dial really comes alive under different lighting and gives the watch much more character than the usual plain gold Seiko dress models.

The watch has been fitted with a new brown strap and fresh battery and is currently running.

The dial presents very nicely. The gold-tone case shows normal vintage wear, scratches and some plating wear around the edges and corners, all clearly shown in the photos. Overall it remains a very attractive and wearable example.
