George III Mahogany Tea Caddy with Key

A good example of an 18th Century Tea caddy. Constructed in Mahogany with a pair of zinc lined inner containers. One container displaying hand written Sugar label and other unlabelled. Complete with carry handle and decorative escutcheon plate with working key.

Condition

Generally in good condition. Some signs of wear as to be expected from use. Small number pinholes in sides. Case has a number of small marks as to be expected. Liners are well fitted into the caddy. Zinc linings present on containers and lids. Please see photos
