Period: 17th / 18th Century.
Dimensions: 42mm in diameter.
Weight: 26.6g / 0.85 troy oz.
Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use. The top panel has a few small splits and losses.
Marks: Bears later French boars head hallmarks.
Notes: The top cover seems to be made of two thin slices of 17th Century silver medals, with a third on the base. It seems to have been constructed in the first half of the 18th Century and hallmarked later.
