Large 2-1/4" Neolithic Stemmed Serrated point made from multicolor chert. Jackson Galleries specifically notes this artifact as a “Rare Form” and grades it G-8. Width is 11/16". The accompanying COA reports Sahara Desert, North Africa origin and dating within the 9,500 B.P. range. Its size, serrations, colorful material and rare-form designation make it a particularly interesting example.
