Yamaha PG1 Vintage 1981 Dual Channel Guitar Rack Preamp & Spring Reverb - 100V

Dating from 1981 and made in Japan, the Yamaha PG1 is a dual-channel rackmount preamplifier designed for electric guitar and other instruments.

Channel A provides a cleaner preamp path, while Channel B offers additional gain for more driven sounds. Both channels have separate tone controls with pull Bright and Fat functions. The PG1 also includes a sweepable parametric equaliser, selectable high-pass and low-pass filtering, built-in spring reverb and footswitch control for channel selection and reverb switching.

Connections include front and rear instrument outputs, an effects send and return, headphone output and a balanced XLR output with adjustable level and ground-lift switching.

A rare early Yamaha rack preamp with two distinct channels, flexible analogue tone shaping and genuine built-in spring reverb.
