An exceptional, consecutive historical archive of three (3) vintage collegiate fraternity formal dance cards from the Alpha Deuteron Chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).

Spanning from December 1939 to May 1941, this sequential trilogy beautifully tracks pre-World War II campus social history and changing material design trends.

All three novelty programs were custom-manufactured by the premier printer Hollys-Chicago, retain their original decorative cords, and feature completely blank, unused internal dance program pages.

All three artifacts are in remarkable, museum-quality vintage condition. The early celluloid covers are completely flat, rigid, and well-preserved with absolutely zero warping, chemical decay, rot, or crystallization. The wood veneer on the 1941 card is perfectly smooth and intact. All interior pages are clean, flat, and free of any writing, ink, or signatures. Cords, tassels, and binding rings are secure.
