The PPWP-B manual fire switch button is an actuating and signalling device of the "fire protection circuit breaker", the task of which is to cut off the power supply to all circuits, except circuits that supply systems and equipment whose operation is necessary during a fire, are used in fire areas with a volume of more than 1000 m3 or in potentially explosive atmospheres. Interrupting the supply of fire by a switch must not cause a second power source, including the generator, to turn on automatically, except for the emergency light source present in the building. The fire circuit breaker should be located near the main entrance to the object or connection and marked accordingly.
The fire protection switch button is an indirectly operated type B button (commissioning takes place after a quick hit and press of the button). In terms of electrical system, it can be classified as a normal switch with electrical passive elements that work in the alarm circuit. The monitoring status is indicated by a red LED, while the start status is indicated by a green LED, quickly after a break. The LED display can be operated with 24V AC/DC or 230V AC depending on the connection type. The connector contains two contacts. The Y contact is open when monitored and locks in when alarmed. The X contact works in reverse.
