Unused and bought as B stock from Gear4music for £379. New price £459.

It was B stock due to lacquer damage on bass flank. Not noticeable from the front, likely been sustained in transit from Fender distributor.

Perfect playing condition, and unused by me (deciding to stick with my Yamaha bass).

I touched in the red paint on the side and upgraded the bass with the correct string spacing (18mm) quick release, high mass pro Gotoh 404BO-5 C Bass Bridge (£68 from Thomann).

The bass comes complete with the 17mm supplied bridge, and can be popped back on. As quite a few folk have noticed, the stock 17mm bridge isn’t right for the bass pickup pole piece alignment - you can see the spacing is wrong in the stock product pics. That said,  it’ll work fine with 17mm spacing, as  pickup pole-piece magnetic patterns are quite wide in reality, so depends on what feels best.  The location holes pretty much align between the two bridges.

The bass runs in both active and passive mode, the active circuit very much reminds me of a Sadowsky preamp - i.e. boost only at maybe 40hz /4khz type thing?

Please study pictures carefully, in particular the lacquer damage on the side.  The bass is otherwise pretty much as new.
