As with most modern Pokémon cards, minor factory print imperfections, centering variance or light handling wear may occasionally be present even on higher-grade cards.

About the scans: Cards are scanned on a professional commercial scanner at 600 DPI+. That level of detail can pick up dust, small fibres or scanner artefacts that aren't visible on the physical card — including faint horizontal lines, which are a scanner characteristic, not a card defect.
