It really shows that AI doesn't know anything. That's not artificial intelligence that's just remembering what it's done for others. It's not a tube distortion it's a clean boost. And if you run it into a 50 watt Marshall or similar tube amp you will see what this pedal was made for. This one doesn't have a special paint job and it has the DC input. If you're a purist maybe you want to get the myrold version or whatever but this gets you in the door. I find that it recreates the stratoblaster circuit sort of

You know you can be told a million places to put this pedal. You can put it at the end of your board you can put it at the beginning you can put it in the middle. It's in conjunction with other things that are boosting your signal you're going to have a choking effect or a adding to it effect

So let's say you got two different tubes screamers you put one on either side of this thing to really test what it is it does. Maybe you want it to choke down a tube screamer that's got its volume up and it's gained down. Some people really like what that sounds like. But also crank the game and run it into this thing and then run that into another screamer and it is just the sound of an amp being cooked. Doesn't matter what you plug it into. You can plug it into a pioneer record players inputs and it's going to create this effect that I'm talking about. It heats up your pickups. So if you've got good pickups and you heat them up with some zazz some people are inspired by what that is.

I could make a YouTube video right now just showing what I'm talking about but instead I'm describing it. I like to use this pedal at the very beginning of everything. So the purest who are using the same fuzz faces that I'm selling will tell you that just doesn't work but they're not taking into account that this thing itself interacts with that whole baby boomer if you turn the volume down on the guitar it cleans up thing. This is part of that. This circuit I don't know I can't remember when I researched it long ago what exactly is going on in here but it's just a clean boost. If you think about what a clean boost is you'll know where to put this thing. Because sometimes certain guitars pickups are just weak and that weakness lends itself to being able to be amped up by this pedal and not create excessive noise. A dirty fingers Gibson pickup versus a very very particular kind of single coil. One is going to be the other effect that makes this pedal what it is and the other is going to be the other effect.

This pedal should be every blues guy's dream. I know I could do gigs with just this pedal and a one channel fender amp. It's not really going to entertain me but it will entertain somebody I'm sure who really likes simplified Pentatonix and whatnot but you're not going to see what this does in a temper or some plug-in. The whole problem with that equipment is it cannot clean boost. It says it can clean boost. And you think it's doing the same thing until you buy this pedal LOL

You have no idea what the guy who makes these pedals is capable of until you buy this particular pedal. This is the perfect entryway into a company that makes incredibly strange stuff. I only got into this way way back when because of the name of this pedal in my last name as featured as my eBay name here LOL

If you've got a guy with my last name that's willing to tell you that this pedal isn't just an insult LOL, then it must be something LOL

Lots of LOL here but you know what every one of these says the same thing on it if it says anything. Crackle is okay. Crackle is okay will become your motto. Because if you reach down and start monkeying with that particular knob in front of an audience without muting it or choking down your signal so to speak you will stun the audience with the most incredible Lo-Fi sound that is the most undesirable sound any human being that lived during the seventies wants to hear

There's a reason he wrote crackle is okay on here. Because you will never hear crackle until you test what every single one of these pedals has as a graphic in relation to the knob that turns. There will be bees there will be various ways of representing dude don't touch this when it's on to warn you. So you got this thing cranked to 12:00 going into your Marshall don't think you want to bend down and start moving that knob around. Trust us. All of the people who know what the circuit is for want you to know that crackle is okay but crackle will eat your speakers if you're not careful. I mean there's going to be some kids somewhere in the country that makes it so you can have an expression pedal on a super hard on and only the people who have owned one and moved that knob will see why that particular phrase is so funny

Because man I can see the video already. But again you see me say someone who lived in the 70s. If you were born in the 70s and you haven't owned a super hard on and you play guitar don't expect it to be some cranked up distortion pedal sound. It is you louder. It is super hard on. I think that's why it's called that. When you hit that button you are super hard and on. There's no question you do not want this if you are perfectly satisfied with your sound of your equipment and yet you want this if you're perfectly happy with the sound of your equipment. It's a double-edged sword when you get this pedal you'll know what I mean. How can they sell a pedal that all it does is make you louder? You're saying that to someone who owns a fender super Sonic that has four different stages of clean boost. Some people really like clean boost a lot

I think if I went back in time I would trade in all of the stupid distortion pedals and scooped mids and all the dumb garbage we owned just to have this go into any piece of garbage amp and just torture the speakers. This is what I needed when I was young. It's not exactly slash unless you've got what goes with Slash's sound. This pedal is if slash doesn't like the pickups he can make it sound like a 59 Les Paul humbucker. But it's hard to explain why until you own it. And if you don't really like it what's funny is you can move this one along and see just how different this circuit can be when people clone it or just remade by the same company

I think people really sleep on the fact that these pedals can define your tone in a way that is fundamental. You can add pitch effects and phase and all of that stuff after you've got your garbage guitar sounding better than garbage. And that begins with a clean boost at the beginning. But like I keep saying in these run-on sentences you can use it all over the place. Let's say you got a beautiful deja vibe univibe, in part of what makes it charming to you is the fact that it doesn't have control over the volume like it should with the newer versions? It's the body that it adds without changing what it is.

It's what it does to other effects as well though. A Pog before and after this thing. Everything that I will tell you about this pedal comes with that statement before and after. You want to test the boosting and the bringing down quality. It's hard to explain why but the way this pedal brings it down is different. It stays up there but it's quieter. But that's not really the selling point and that's what's funny about this pedal one knob one foot switch you should be able to figure out the concept without opening it up and changing anything inside

And I have three of this particular one. And I'm going to give you the hint. It's all in the paint job.

You can get a hand-painted one for the same price as a vexter, I can prove that fact. But it's what you're willing to go through to get the particular one that you like. This particular one I don't like as much as the other King Kong version or hand-painted ones with roses and daisies and dumb stuff on them but they all have that same thing in common. Crackle is okay

There are kids in there early twenties recreating the circuit where crackle isn't even a factor but crackle is okay is important and research why

If you're into Jerry Garcia this makes it so you don't have to have the preamp built into the guitar. And you can use any guitar to heat up your stuff for that nice '70s rip

You don't need a Travis Bean you can just use any PRS or stratocaster. You don't need that special plate or different bridge or anything. You can get Garcia's tone pretty easily as long as this pedal is part of your factor in it. I was never a purist for that Garcia thing. I lived it like he did he didn't have to have special stuff but he needed special stuff. You know? Imagine seeing David gilmour and he couldn't find the pedals he wanted?

Well with Jerry I feel like the main Crux of it is a hard clean tone that requires a certain pick up choice that likes to be heated up

Which is weird because it's a commonality in jam band stuff really. They need this special guitar but then you find out well the special guitar has a boost built into it and all kinds of dumb stuff. And I'm talking just about everybody in jam band music and then you meet people like Jimmy Herring who can grab a guitar off the shelf because he knows how to use a super hard on

Only the best pedals in rock and roll will have double entender as good as this one. Why don't you purchase it and see why

No power source provided though you can use one with this pedal so that's notable. Has the on/off LEDs if you're doing your Google searches about the circuit

Some of the best versions of the circuit come from Russia and you can't get them anymore and they like to put the two LEDs in the King Kong head represented on them to let you know that it's a tip of the hat to this particular version of this particular pedal. Some would say there is no following at all but those would be the people that don't want people reading their moves or seeing their turn signals

I without researching it I'm 100% sure there is somewhere on the internet a large group of people that have already discussed what this pedal does

Get yourself a version of this pedal or get this version of it. But come to understand what this is. You don't need the super duper trust me. That is counterintuitive to just buying two of them LOL you want two of them but you don't know why yet
