Rare TALON-zippered Poche Toilette 19 M47544-family vanity/cosmetic case by Louis Vuitton. Likely manufactured in the late 1970s in France, possibly by The French Company. I could not find a code inside, so this is likely another pre-date-code piece. The TALON zipper and lack of a date code is a likely indicator of the late 1970s production date. This is VINTAGE Louis Vuitton and very desirable to the right collectors.

It features a monogram canvas and leather-lined interior. Overall measurements are 7.5" × 6 × 2.5" Signs of wear from age and use are evident inside and out. Please refer to the pics for any clarification in this regard and feel free to ask questions!

I have NO DOUBTS whatsoever about the genuineness of this piece - feel free to have it authenticated if you wish. It comes from the estate of a dear woman, I helped a church member of ours clean out her house prior to auction. She was an ICU nurse in NYC for many years and never married. She had very expensive taste and everything she purchased was retail new from the finest stores in NYC. So there is some possibility, based on the research I've done, that this was purchased from Saks Fifth Avenue in the late 1970s to early 80s. A similar piece (not this old) sold on another online site for $850 Euros - over $900+ USD.
