Each piece is constructed with a central, multi-petaled tulip cup glazed in a soft color gradient of light blue, pale green, and white. The upper tulip blossom opens into a hollow chamber designed to serve as a small spill vase or posy vase. This upper element rests on a dense, sculptural cluster of small yellow flowers with contrasting red centers, resembling a primrose or hydrangea grouping. The base is finished with molded turquoise and green leaves that form a steady footed support. The glazed undersides feature a crisp blue underglaze backstamp consisting of the block letters "KPM" directly above a crossed-lines symbol, identifying them as production from the Krister factory.
