An unusually complete original British model railway and town-planning modeller's outfit manufactured by **G. N. Slater, 6 Dalveen Drive, Timperley, Cheshire, England**.
The original outer box retains its period label identifying this as the **Slater's Huminatures Constructors Outfit**, comprising plastic figures, special paints, thinners, transparent base material and cement.
The set retains an impressive amount of its original contents, including:
* Large quantity of original unpainted Huminatures figures * Original boxed selection of Plastic Huminatures * Original coloured modelling materials/paints in glass bottles * Original Slater's PAK fluid cement bottle * Thinner/liquid bottle * Transparent base strips/material * Original compartmented cardboard insert * Original instructions and packaging
The contents appear remarkably little used and the bottles and labels display extremely well. The original paints, cement and other liquids/materials are now vintage and are included strictly as historical/display contents and **are not intended for use**.
The figures were designed for populating model railways and town-planning models and could even be reshaped by heating, as described in the fascinating original instructions.
Dating from approximately the **mid-to-late 1950s**, this is a wonderful surviving piece of early British model railway modelling history.
The outer box shows age-related storage wear but remains structurally presentable with its important original manufacturer's label intact.
A particularly attractive collector's/display piece and an unusually complete survival.
Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
