This is an attractive piece of classic German photographic equipment with a distinctive mid-century design, metal body construction, black textured covering and period controls. Cosmetically, the camera displays genuine signs of age and previous use. Visible signs include surface marks, scratches, finish wear, discoloration/tarnishing and oxidation in various areas of the metal components. The black body covering shows age-related wear. These characteristics are consistent with an original vintage photographic item that has been used and stored over many years.
The leather case is also vintage and shows substantial age-related wear, including scratches, scuffs, discoloration, surface deterioration and wear around the edges, stitching and strap areas. It should be regarded as a period accessory rather than a modern protective case.
Because this camera has not undergone a complete professional mechanical and optical service/test, shutter operation and shutter-speed accuracy, aperture operation, focusing accuracy, rangefinder/viewfinder accuracy, film advance/transport, frame counter, flash synchronization and all other functions are not guaranteed.
