1967 MG B GT – Extensive History File – Major Restoration – Barn Stored – Overdrive

For sale is my 1967 MG B GT, finished in classic green. This is a fantastic opportunity to own one of Britain's most iconic classic coupes, complete with an exceptional history file that is rarely found with cars of this age.

What truly sets this MG apart is its comprehensive documented history, including receipts, invoices and restoration records dating back to 1978 when it had a replacement shell purchased directly from the MG Owners Club and the paperwork and receipts for this are included in its extensive history. The extensive paperwork documents the car's journey over nearly five decades and demonstrates the care, maintenance and investment it has received throughout its life.

According to the history file, the car was barn stored from approximately 1980 until 2000, helping to preserve it before returning to the road.

A major restoration was completed in July 2005 at a cost of approximately £9,000. The invoices and receipts for this work are included within the history file, providing excellent documentation of the restoration.

This is not just a classic car – it comes with an incredible archive that gives confidence to the next owner and provides genuine provenance. Cars with this level of documented history are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

The MG B GT combines timeless Pininfarina styling with the character and driving experience that have made these cars so popular with enthusiasts. Whether you're looking for a classic to enjoy on weekend drives, attend shows or add to a collection, this is a car that will always attract attention.
