Chicago, IL: Illustrated Publications, 1949-57. First printings, perfect-bound 4tos, about 50pp ea, matte color wraps and b/w throughout. Vintage adult magazines featuring mostly nude photography by leading contemporary photographers, often with recognizable models or actresses, studio sessions with dramatic lighting. Art Photography became Art and Photography; early issues with airbrushing. A few still retain "safety" tape ghosts at the fore-edges, a practice by dealers and distributors to keep unwanted eyes from the contents. Good to Very Good overall, most with rubbing, toning, edge foxing, small tears or creases, tiny fc pencil, but some are quite presentable. For mature audiences.
