Vintage JMGT Dassault MD 450 Ouragan aircraft model kit in 1/48 scale, manufactured in France.
This is a specialized multimedia kit featuring a primarily resin construction, along with transparent parts, photo-etched metal detailing, decals and instructions. The photographs show the substantial one-piece resin components as well as smaller detail parts.
The decal sheet provides markings for multiple aircraft and includes distinctive Israeli Air Force markings and shark-mouth nose artwork.
JMGT’s 1/48 Ouragan is an out-of-production resin kit from the French specialist manufacturer and represents an interesting early multimedia treatment of this important postwar French jet fighter. Contemporary modeling references identify JMGT’s Ouragan as a 1/48 resin release, and the kit was already being reviewed in modeling publications by 1998.
The Dassault MD 450 Ouragan was France’s first domestically produced military jet aircraft and entered French service in the early 1950s. The type was also operated by Israel, India and El Salvador.
This is an unassembled model kit intended for experienced modelers and adult collectors. Resin multimedia kits generally require different preparation and assembly techniques than conventional injection-molded plastic kits.
Open box; contents appear new and unassembled. Resin components, transparent parts, photo-etched metal details, decals and instruction sheets are present as shown in the photographs.
The outer box shows considerable age and storage wear, including discoloration/soiling, edge and corner wear, old tape/tape residue, label wear and general surface wear. Please examine all photographs for the exact condition of the box and contents.

No manufacturing date is printed on the packaging. However, this JMGT 1/48 Ouragan was documented in the modeling press by April 1998, establishing that the kit was in production by at least the late 1990s.
The kit is now out of production, and surviving examples are of particular interest to collectors of French limited-production resin aircraft kits.
The model will be carefully packed to protect the resin components, decals, photo-etched parts and original vintage box during shipment. Because resin components can be more brittle than conventional injection-molded plastic, appropriate protective packing will be used.
