Used unit in good cosmetic condition with no major scratches or dents, and the rear rubber parts are intact. Electrically the unit powers on and the main measurement modes display and operate, but some functions could not be fully verified in our facility, so this item is offered as a unit that requires further checking by a knowledgeable user. At startup the self-test shows the message "Fault detected... / No ground or isolated mains detected."; our test environment has no grounded 115 V outlet, so the cause could not be confirmed, and normal operation continues after skipping with F4. Please purchase this item with the understanding that it is a used item.
Operation Check
Power on confirmed. LCD display is normal with no missing segments or flicker. All function keys, F1 to F4 and the arrow keys respond. Mains Voltage mode displays L-N 103.3 V (N-E and L-E readings are not meaningful in our ungrounded environment). Point to Point Resistance works correctly: shorted leads read 0.338 ohm and F4 Zero Leads corrects the reading to near 0 ohm. Equipment Current shows 0.0 A with no DUT connected. Leakage mode displays Earth 0.3 uA and Enclosure 0.2 uA, and switching to Patient Auxiliary works. Point to Point Voltage 0.0 V and Leakage 0.3 uA displayed. ECG Wave Simulation displays waveforms and rate changes are reflected. Insulation Resistance (MOhm) mode is displayed but the actual 500 VDC test was not performed for safety reasons. The dedicated Ohm key (Protective Earth Resistance) enters its mode but stayed at OL with shorted leads, so this function is UNCONFIRMED. Reversed Mains polarity switching, Autosequence and Ansur PC connection were not tested. Firmware version 3.01. Testing was performed with our own shop test leads.

Main unit, FLUKE logo soft carrying case, power cord (IEC C13 to US 3-pin) x1, HUBBELL D-56610-04 adapter plug (white, 3-pin) x1, FLUKE Biomedical BJ2ECG input jack adapter x1 (fits the ECG jacks on the top panel, but the black plastic housing in the center is cracked and chipped), and one unbranded banana adapter (male to female). The Fluke Biomedical ESA612 is a portable electrical safety analyzer designed for testing medical devices to international electrical safety standards. It performs mains voltage, protective earth resistance, insulation resistance (500 VDC), equipment current, earth/enclosure/patient leakage current and point-to-point measurements, and it includes a built-in ECG waveform simulator with selectable rates for basic patient monitor checks.
