This is a vintage clear glass serving bowl probably from the mid 20th century. It is a nice size for a small gathering and would hold about 1 quart of food. The sides have a curved swirl and the bottom has circular rings surrounding one sunburst at the very center of the bottom that is about 2 inches in diameter..
There are three seams running from the bottom of the bowl to the top edge where the glass pieces were pressed tgether. Each of these start just above the three feet or legs. Each leg is 5 1/4 inch apart from the other two legs. Each leg is curved and is about one inch long. The bottom of the bowl at the center is only about 1/2 inch off the table surface.
There are no cracks in the bowl or chips on the edges, but there is one spot on the upper edge that is a little rough for a very short distance. It is not really visible. On the underside along the bottom of the bowl there is a short flaw on the uppermost circular ridge that probably was created in the manufacturing process. It is a 1/4 inch long protrusion, not a chip.
