Wonderful vintage Twin Winton monk/friar cookie jar, marked on the bottom “TWIN WINTON ©60 MADE IN U.S.A.” Dating to 1960, this charming ceramic cookie jar features a smiling monk in a brown robe with raised white lettering reading “Thou Shalt Not Steal.”

The monk’s upper body forms the removable lid. A fun and highly displayable piece of vintage American pottery and a great addition to a cookie jar, Twin Winton, or mid-century kitchenware collection.

Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with noticeable age-related crazing throughout the glazed areas, particularly on the face and hands.
